There’s so much history on Lake Union that Tove and I didn’t know about (and we’ve lived in this area for much of our lives).

A visit to MOHAI is a no-brainer (and not just because of the A/C). They’ve got some mighty cool exhibits for the kidlets to explore while you chill out. Or check out the boats on loan from the Center for Wooden Boats. They bring out about ten beautifully crafted wooden boats for passers-by to test out on the South Lake Union Boat Pond ($5 suggested donation).
